Join us for a conversation with Marci Dallas about art festivals, art festival data, and what it can tell us about how festivals create local impacts.

The City of Edinburgh is the center of festival life in Scotland. Understanding the impacts these festivals have on the city, its residents, and its visitors is an ongoing challenge. In our conversation this month we'll look at research done by Festivals Edinburgh (a cross-sector project that supports all of Edinburgh's 11 major festivals) that names the specific impacts that festivals are having in the city. We'll explore how those impacts are helping in future planning efforts, and talk about how we can apply these insights to our work here in Texas.
